Counselling
Counselling is available to those who request this service
when making reservations at Fairhaven.
While our counselling is mainly intended for those in
full-time Christian service, we do receive others when space is
available.
We serve all Christian denominations, missions and
parachurch organizations, thus our counselling is sensitive to
the differences in the varied traditions.
For those desiring counselling, we recommend a stay of
one to two weeks.
Counselling is available to help address either crisis
situations or to promote personal, relational and professional
growth.
Our counsellors are required to have graduate level
training and Ministry experience.
Rates
The fee for counselling is maintained at a low rate of
$50.00/hour, but we will not refuse our services to anyone who
is unable to manage this cost. Daily sessions are usually 2
hours in length. Ongoing life coaching can be arranged and the
cost negotiated with the executive director.
